NEW ! Archie Scott Brown-Lister Jaguar  The Last Race  - Spa Grand Prix May 18th 1958

A tribute to one of the greatest drivers

Battling hard with Mastern Gregory driving the Ecurie Ecosse Lister Jaguar, they swapped the lead between them inches apart.

The competition was so fierce that Archie dented his cars' nose on the rear of the Ecosse car on lap three.

With Archie leading on lap six they arrived at the Seaman bend to find the track slick with rain, the right hand front wheel  of the Lister hit a road sign snapping the track rod causing a disasterous accident  -this great driver died from his injuries the next day.

' Remarkable Rindt'  The Monaco Grand Prix on May 10th 1970 is remembered as one of the most dramatic races in the history of Formula 1.

With 20 of the 80 laps to go, Jack Brabham held a comfortable lead of 14 seconds from Jochen Rindt in the type 49C. Rindt drove 'flat out' in a mesmerizing display of skill and speed and was right on the tail of the Brabham BT33 as they lapped the De Tomaso of Piers Courage, approaching the final corner of the race Jack made a costly mistake and slid into the barriers, allowing Jochen to take the last Grand Prix victory for a Lotus 49.

A remarkable performance from Rindt who set a new laprecord of 1 min 23.2 on this, the very last lap.£45.00
